Liposuction is not simply a “procedure to remove a lot of fat.”
We approach this surgery as sculpting.
Bringing out the beauty hidden within the body’s curves and structure.
That is what we believe is the true purpose of liposuction.

If it were only a matter of quantity, removing more might seem like the right answer.
However, that standard must be considered together with overall body harmony, skin recovery capacity, and anatomical safety.

That’s why our liposuction is different—starting from the “design.”

Before surgery, we analyze:
• the muscle and bone structure,
• skin elasticity,
• and even how the lines flow when you move.

Surgery must be performed within the boundaries of safety.

More important than “taking out more” is beauty that lasts and results that recover well.

  • Delicate techniques that reduce risks such as bleeding, swelling, and nerve injury
  • A safe approach that considers blood vessels and lymphatic flow
  • A care plan that takes responsibility through the recovery period

We believe liposuction is truly meaningful only when all of these elements come together.

The completion of a beautiful figure is a smooth body line.

After breast reduction, breast augmentation, breast lift for sagging breasts, or accessory breast surgery, body proportions change—so the surrounding lines also need to be refined.

In many cases, even if volume decreases or increases, if the surrounding body shape does not change or unevenness remains, it can be difficult to achieve a satisfying result.

At Mamms Plastic Surgery, when needed, we recommend liposuction that smoothly refines the surrounding fat in response to changes in a specific area.

Combine liposuction with breast reduction, breast augmentation, breast lift, or accessory breast surgery—and experience a strong synergy effect.

Because the goal is not an unconditional suction volume, but beautiful contours and lines, it is essential to have a deep understanding of each body area. By identifying areas with more fat and less fat and considering each individual’s body-balance proportions, satisfying results can be achieved.

Upper Arm Liposuction

The upper arm contains firm fat with dense, fibrous fat cells. Once fat accumulates, it is an area that does not easily reduce through exercise or dieting.

Also, because the arms are a body area sensitive to exposure, to create a tight and slim arm line, it is important to perform minimal incisions so scars are not visible and to suction fat across the widest possible range.

Abdominal Liposuction

The abdomen has both a well-developed superficial subcutaneous fat layer and a deeper fat layer, making it easier to reduce fat and also one of the areas with the most noticeable results.

As the treatment range becomes broader—such as upper abdomen, lower abdomen, flanks, and love handles—skin and subcutaneous fat contraction becomes stronger, leading to an even greater synergy effect.

Back Liposuction

When a thick fat layer forms on the back, the back can look wider, and back fat can bulge when wearing underwear, making it difficult to achieve a smooth back silhouette.

Because fat accumulated on the back tends to become fibrotic, even if it is not a large amount, it must be suctioned more precisely and delicately to create a slim line without irregularities.

We analyze each individual’s fat-layer thickness, body composition, and body-balance proportions, then establish a 1:1 personalized surgical plan accordingly.

We make 2–4mm incisions inside the navel, near the tailbone, and inside the armpit to minimize surgical traces. Even when wearing clothing that exposes the arms or abdomen, the incision scars are barely visible.

We provide a structured swelling & bruising and scar-care service to minimize surface irregularities after surgery, quickly reduce swelling around the liposuction area, and help the body line settle into a stable shape.

Is liposuction a risky surgery?

Liposuction is not a dangerous surgery.
Because the subcutaneous fat layer located between the skin and muscle contains no vital organs, it has fewer risk factors and is a relatively safe procedure.

Why does the amount of fat removed differ from clinic to clinic?

1 kg of fat = 1,000 cc
The total aspirated volume can differ by clinic because it includes the fluid infused during liposuction as well as fat, blood, and tissue fluid. Mamms Plastic Surgery minimizes the infused fluid and maximizes the extraction of pure fat, allowing more pure fat to be aspirated even when the same total volume is removed.

Does suctioning also reduce body weight?

A decrease of 1 kg per 1,000 cc of pure fat (average estimate)
Immediately after surgery, the body naturally develops inflammation (with swelling) as a “protective response” for wound healing, and body weight may temporarily increase for about 2–3 months due to swelling.
After 3 months, appetite may increase as the body attempts to replenish the lost fat, so an appropriate diet plan should be combined.

  1. Evenly suction uneven fat
  2. Improve areas that don’t respond to exercise
  3. Refine into a smoother body line
  4. Delicate technique for faster recovery
  5. 1:1 customized liposuction tailored to each individual’s body-balance proportions
